Giraffe cloud platform has built-in additional security features from the beginning to make sure that your login and therefore sites are more secure than the traditional CCTV systems.
Two of these methods are Federated Login with GSuite or Microsoft and also Two Factor Authentication. In this document, you will see how to set up and use these features to keep your data secure.
Federated Login
To use the federated login you will need to first log into your ONVP account. Once logged in click on your name in the top right-hand corner, followed by “Profile”.
Once in your profile settings, you will need to go to the “Single Sign On” tab and enable Login with Google.
The next time you go to log in you will be able to use the Login With Google button which is just below the usual sign in box.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
To enable 2FA you will again need to log into your account and go to your profile settings. The first thing you need to do is add your mobile number. Once you have saved this you will need to verify your phone number.
You will then need to enable 2FA on the 2FA tab.
The next time you go to login you will login in the same way as usual. You will then receive a text message with a code which you will enter once you have entered your username and password.
If you have not verified your phone number you will not be able to enable 2FA.
